Resolved Question: Broken headlight ticket, can any cop sign off?

I got off Bart late one night after work and got in my car. Of course my luck sucks and my headlight went out at that moment, Bart office pulled me over and gave me a ticket for my headlight being out. I got it fixed the next day. But because I've had a new work schedule and moved to a new city I haven't had a chance to get an officer to look over my headlight. It's been a few weeks now. Can any officer in any city sign off for it? (Got ticket in Hayward, CA moved to San Jose, CA) I have the receipt for fixed headlight too. Do i have to go to court? Do i pay a fine? He mentioned it was a fix-it ticket. P.S I swear the east bay police is after me. This is my 3rd ticket from a city in Alameda county that was all due to HORRIBLE timing (2 of the tickets, I wasn't even the original offender).... Read More »
